Wafeldam Stroopwafels, 2018
The Dutch traditional stroopwafels, (caramel syrup waffles) baked with a stroopwafel iron. The iron has a grid on the hot contact surface and emboss this pattern onto the stroopwafel , shaping it into its final form.
Each redesigned stroopwafel is embossed with famous as well as local icons of the cities of the Netherlands. This way it is not only a delicious treat, but people, tourists can also learn more about the architecture and history of the country.
